Job Summary:

The School of Applied Health and Educational Psychology (SAHEP) in the College of Education (COE) at Oklahoma State University-Stillwater is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor and Director for the newly approved RN-BSN Program which will prepare registered nurses for expanded roles in the profession of nursing. The Director of the RN-BSN program reports to the Head of the School of Applied Health and Educational Psychology.
OSU is seeking a forward-thinking leader who will build on the breadth and strength of its undergraduate programs and educational model while inspiring collaborative relationships both within and outside the university. The candidate must demonstrate a deep commitment to and experience in developing and maintaining a strong curriculum, diversity, research, obtaining external funding, inter-professional and collaborative education, and progressive approaches to professional nursing education and practice.
The candidate should have experience in applying for and achieving  initial national accreditation through the Commission on Collegiate Education (CCNE) by demonstrating compliance with the CCNE standards and key elements.

Education & Experience

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Required:

Ph.D. / Ed.D. in Nursing or related field

Administrative, organizational or governance experience within a baccalaureate nursing program.  The candidate must show evidence of leadership, service, teaching, scholarship, and research, as well as accreditation and program assessment experience.

An Oklahoma nursing license or eligibility for such license.
