Job Summary:

Serve as Training Director of our APA accredited Counseling Psychology Program
Provide clinical supervision for Counseling and Counseling Psychology students.
Teach graduate courses in Counseling and Counseling Psychology on the Stillwater and Tulsa campuses
Participate and serve as a mentor in the American Psychological Association and the American Counseling Association (for our counseling students)
Collaborate with other university and community agencies.
Maintain an active research program that responds to our land grant mission and is impactful nationally
Provide service in the School, College, University, community and at state, regional and national levels within the American Psychological Association and the American Counseling Association and its affiliates
Other duties may be assigned by the School Head.

Education & Experience

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D./Ed.D. in Counseling Psychology (APA Accredited) or a related field


Licensed or license-eligible (pending state-specific requirements) as a psychologist in the State of Oklahoma
Successful college/university teaching experience with doctoral students in Counseling Psychology
Experience supervising practicum and internship students
Experience or training in working within APA accredited programs
Successful research experience evidenced by peer-reviewed publications and presentations
Experience teaching in a CACREP accredited program prior to July 1, 2013.
