Job Summary:

Fire Protection Publications is a mission-driven, values-based organization dedicated to the production of high-quality educational content for the international community of firefighters and first responders. 
As an Administrative Specialist, you will provide administrative support for the CEAT Information Technology office. This includes: researching and coordinating the purchase of hardware, software, and technology services; managing the technology budgets and providing regular budget reports; coordinating with technology vendors for preventative maintenance and other services; managing the inventory of PCs, printers, and other IT equipment; providing office management for the CEAT IT team.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED with four years of customer service or clerical experience or two years applicable post-secondary education with two years of experience. 

Demonstrated understanding and application of FPP's organizational values: Service, Safety, Quality, Integrity, Excellence, Professionalism, Accuracy, Collaboration, Credibility, Innovativeness, Accountability, Highly organized, proactive, able to set and maintain schedules, Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong customer service skills, Able to work effectively both as a team member and independently, Great problem-solving skills with an enthusiasm for life-long learning, Detail oriented and decisive

This position will require the incumbent to have documented proof of full Covid-19 vaccination status or an approved accommodation through the OSU Office of Equal Opportunity upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's degree. Experience in technology procurement. Proficiency with office productivity software. Experience with organizational budgeting. Completion of Ambassador and Leadership Development Program within 2 Years of hire.
