Job Summary:

Fire Protection Publications is a mission-driven, values-based organization dedicated to the production of high-quality educational content for the international community of firefighters and first responders.

As FPP IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for the management and execution of all information technology (IT) projects for Fire Protection Publications (FPP). This includes: directing the operation of FPP IT offices; meeting with stakeholders to analyze IT needs and to plan business requirements for IT systems; developing and implementing strategies to ensure network availability, data integrity, and robust cybersecurity for FPP; overseeing the support and maintenance of the existing technical infrastructure and researching and implementing new technical solutions. 

This position is a project management position that reports directly to the IT Manager of FPP. Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

Position Qualifications:

This position will require the incumbent to have documented proof of full Covid-19 vaccination status or an approved accommodation through the OSU Office of Equal Opportunity upon hire.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and four years of experience working in a professional computer environment. Must have a valid driver's license. 

Knowledge of IT solution design and development technologies, techniques, and best practices. Ability to lead and manage a team. Proficient in project management processes and practices. Ability to manage outside vendors and subcontractors.

Highly organized, ability to set and maintain schedules, excellent writing skills, and excellent communication skills.

A valid driver's license is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree and at least one year of experience in two of the following areas:  information technology management, technical operations, personnel supervision, project management, or information security.
