Job Summary:
Job Summary:The Counselor position will be in the OCKAPMAP team under the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. This position is part of a multidisciplinary approach to provide consultation, education, and referral assistance to pediatric serving primary care providers. This position will provide clinical consultation and advanced behavioral health education for OKCAPMAP primary care providers. Additionally, this position will assist primary care providers and their staff with mental health referral. The position is a full-time exempt staff position in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Some in-state travel required.Environmental Hazards:Possible exposure to hazardous material, hot and cold, and blood borne pathogens.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift, carry push, and pull 20 pounds, stoop, reach, stand, walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodations., sufficient to carry out specific job functions of a licensed mental health counselor.

Education & Experience
Position Qualifications:
Required:-M.S. or M.A. degree-License in the state of Oklahoma as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or clinical psychologist-A devoted interest in pediatric mental health. Skills, Proficiencies, and Knowledge:Requires strong analytical skills, advanced multi-tasking skills, advanced problem-solving skills, effective coordination skills. broad pediatric clinical experience, and exceptional oral and written communication skills. Computer skills are needed to operate an electronic database, communicate with primary care providers, and participate in education efforts. Exceptional interpersonal skills required. Preferred:-Prior management or supervisory experience
