Job Summary:

The Program Specialist assists the director, manager, and coordinator in the Center for Advanced Global Leadership and Engagement (CAGLE) with conferences, public and on-site seminars, webinars, and special events in regard to program coverage, specified assignments and evaluation of programs. 

The Program Specialist also provides administrative support for CAGLE Initiatives and Programs, preparing CAGLE cultural and other events for students, creating and processing purchasing forms/contracts, reconciling funds, scheduling promotional and planning events, and preparing travel requests for CAGLE faculty leaders in AIRS, and assisting with program management in Terra Dotta. 

The Program Specialist assists with CAGLE's marketing efforts.

The department will consider individuals who would prefer 10 month assignment(i.e. take leave without pay during the summer).  Schedule can be negotiated at time of offer.

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business related field

One year related experience.

Must have the ability to interact with faculty and students in a professional manner. Must be able to organize and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Must be able to work with a diverse group of internal and external customers. Must have a service-oriented attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience work for a study abroad or international program.

Experience in using software programs such as: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Terra Dotta, OASIS and InDesign.
OSU systems software experience.
Experience in an office environment duties including but not limited to: customer service, travel organization, event assistance, answering phones and emails in a prompt manner, and managing interns or student workers. 
Experience in representing a brand or organization in a professional and polished manner.
