Job Summary:

Come explore the exciting world of pathology!  The Department of Veterinary Pathobiology in the College of Veterinary Medicine, Oklahoma State University (OSU) in beautiful Stillwater, OK invites applicants for a 3rd year anatomic pathology residency training position. We are seeking a highly motivated, hard-working, and dependable individual who has a DVM or equivalent degree, a great sense of humor, and a continual interest in pursuing a career in anatomic pathology.  This is a full-time position for the duration of one year. Seven anatomic pathologists and three clinical pathologists are on faculty with a wide range of expertise, who recognize the importance of an enriched learning environment and understand that the ultimate goal is board certification by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP).  In addition to the extensive and varied diagnostic case material presented to the Oklahoma Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (OADDL) each week, there are several rounds and seminars in addition to abundant archived material available for ACVP board preparation. There are also opportunities for creative scholarly activities. Independent studying and analysis of pathological concepts is also an important component of this program. Residents receive a travel stipend ($1500/year) to fund attendance of pathology courses, workshops, and meetings designed to enrich their learning experience. 

Start date is July 31, 2023.  Salary is $34,585 per year plus a benefits package that includes health insurance and fringe benefits.
