Job Summary:
Coordinate and direct the overall merchandising and daily operation of the University Store's apparel department to include personnel selection, hiring, pricing, displays, merchandise section and stock rotation. Assist in procurement process as assigned (insignia gift buying). Coordinate sales promotions as directed. Act as part of the University Store apparel management team to determine store retail strategy and maximize effectiveness. Also coordinate and direct the daily operation of the apparel receiving department to include the verification of the accuracy of all merchandise being checked in, pricing, binning of excess stock, location entry, and the general supervision of all personnel assigned to the receiving department (both full and part-time).Position is heavy in manual labor and requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.All other duties assigned.

Position Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School/GED
Four years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Merchandise & Apparel, Business or related field.
Two years of supervisory experience in large retail store or college bookstore.
CRT, Xerox, Ratex, POS terminal
