Job Summary:

Oversee the development and instruction of German Online high school courses including German I, II, and III/IV and AP. Teach upper division courses (German IV and AP) including conducting telephone and online tutoring sessions, grade student work, including quizzes, tests, assignments and projects. Develop and maintain online instructional materials, answer questions to assist teachers and students in all German Online classes, and work with high schools across the country to develop and maintain partnerships for offering German Online instruction in those schools. Train and manage German Online staff including students hired to tutor and grade coursework for German I and II.

Education & Experience

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in German.

3 years of experience teaching German.

Near-native fluency in German. Knowledge and experience with emerging learning technologies and learning management systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in German.

5 years of experience in teaching German; online teaching experience; and supervisor experience.

Native fluency in German.
